Under general supervision, the Maintenance Worker is responsible for the erection, repair, refurbishment, modification and/or construction of amusement rides and devices, equipment and facilities, and performs related duties as required in accordance with the company's policies and procedures. By conducting systems and components inspections and tests and analyzing performance variations isolating defective components and systems, repairing equipment failures and mechanical and electrical systems malfunctions, completing preventive maintenance, conducting test rides, adjusting controls and systems, the Maintenance Worker maintains the amusement rides and devices and other equipment as directed.

open information Engineer

Lagoon is currently accepting resumes for a staff Engineer to join our Engineering Department.

The Engineer is responsible for providing engineering analysis, providing mechanical design services and implementing sound technical solutions for various company projects. The Engineer is responsible for engineering duties and work associated with the planning, design, erection, repairs, refurbishment, modification, and/or the construction of amusement rides or devices, in accordance with recognized national codes, industry standards and Company policies and procedures. Work duties will also include engineering assignments dealing with the planning, design, fabrication, refurbishment, and/or modification of Park buildings, infrastructure, offices, housing, retail outlets and other assignments given by management. Required Qualifications Include:

  • Poses, at minimum, a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited college or university. A master's degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
  • Proven minimum of (5) five years experience in design of amusement rides or conveyance systems.
  • A Registered Professional Engineering (PE) certificate is preferred.
  • Must maintain current state licenses and certifications.
