Rides are not designed to accomodate animals. Due to health and safety concerns, service animals are discouraged within with confines of Lagoon A Beach, and if permitted, must remain a minimum of 10 feet from the water at all times.

RIDES AND OTHER ATTRACTIONS
Virtually all Lagoon rides and attractions are accessible to guests with disabilities. Lagoon's rides have signs posted at the entrance which describe the sensations that may be experienced during the ride. In addition, "Fun and Safety Guide Signs" are located at ride entrances to assist in evaluation of the attraction relative to one's individual physical condition.

Each guest must recognize that forces created by some rides may aggravate temporary or permanent physical conditions. All guests with disabilities, whether permanent or temporary, including recent surgery, brace, cast, pregnancy, etc., must use common sense in determining whether to enter a ride in consideration of their disability and/or physical condition. Eleven basic rules apply to all of Lagoon's rides.
  1. Shirts and shoes must be worn at all times.
  2. Smoking, food, and drink are not allowed on any ride, slide or attraction, or in queue lines.
  3. All carry on items that cannot be safely stowed must be left with a non rider.
  4. Each guest must meet posted height requirements and/or must be accompanied by a responsible person when required.
  5. Each guest must comply with all warning, rule, and instruction signs present at the ride.
  6. Each guest must meet and abide by the criteria noted on the Fun and Safety Guide Signs posted at the entrance to each ride.
  7. Safety restraints are designed to accommodate guests of average physical stature and body proportions. Each guest must be able to use the safety devices which are provided, such as handlebars, seat restraints, and/or lap bars. Restraint systems must be engaged as designed.
  8. Each guest must be free of impairments, such as cast or brace, or unusual physical characteristics in height or weight, which would inhibit or prevent normal seating or securing of the safety restraint.
  9. Each guest must have the ability to maintain riding posture and brace themselves throughout the course of the ride against potential forces created by the attraction and/or other participants.
  10. Guests who are observably under the influence of illegal drugs, alcohol, or certain prescription drugs will not be permitted to board any attraction when perceived to be impaired.
  11. Granting access to the ride may not compromise the safety or welfare of other guests or employees.
AS A MATTER OF COURTESY
To allow Lagoon to fairly accommodate all guests, we must ask for assistance. We recommend that guests with disabilities have someone accompany them to the Park who is familiar with their needs. In some cases, guests may need the assistance of a member of their party to help them transfer from their wheelchairs onto a ride system.

Some rides have auxiliary entrances for guests who use wheelchairs. These are intended to offer a more convenient entrance to the ride. Auxiliary entrances are not intended to bypass waiting in the queue. Only guests who use wheelchairs, and a limited few members of their party may enter the ride through these entrances. Other accompanying riders must use the standard queue entrance. Please note the guest who would be in front of you in the standard queue in order to identify your position in line to the Ride Attendant. Once at the auxiliary entrance gate, please report to the Ride Attendant and identify the guest that will establish your place in line.

Some guests may be concerned that they do not have the stamina to wait in Lagoon queues. We suggest these guests consider using a wheelchair, as the distance between our rides and attractions is much greater than the length of our queue lines. A limited number of wheelchairs are available for rental at the Strollers N' Stuff Office near the Park entrance.

RE-RIDE POLICY EXCEPTION
Lagoon has established an exception to the "No Re-Ride Policy" for guests who use wheelchairs for mobility, or other guest who experience significant physical difficulty boarding Lagoon's rides. These guests will be granted a single, consecutive re-ride upon request. This courtesy is also offered to a limited few companions, if they originally accompanied the guest during the first ride, in the same seating section of the ride. Changing riding companions on a re-ride will not be permitted. The re-ride policy does not include X-Venture Zone Attractions without the pre-purchase of an additional ticket

DECIDE BEFORE YOU RIDE
Prior to boarding any ride, all guests should evaluate the ride during its complete loading, running and unloading cycle, from their personal perspective and considering their own individual capabilities. This evaluation should include:
  1. The ability to withstand the forces resulting from the ride action.
  2. The ability to comprehend how to load, unload, and participate on the ride, including certain effects the ride will produce.
  3. The ability to brace, as needed, against certain ride effects.
It is important to realize that there is always a remote chance that a situation may arise which requires some walking or may require the participants be removed from a vehicle during the course of the ride. Although these occasions are rare, please be aware of this and use discretion and good judgement before boarding any ride. At some rides, guests must be mobile enough to be able to evacuate themselves using catwalks, ladders or stairs.

While participating on some rides, guests with sight impairments may not be able to fully anticipate the forces and movements to which their bodies will be subject, and, are therefore, advised to take this into consideration when deciding whether or not to participate. Guests with site impairments may not steer a Boomerang, Scamper or Double Thunder vehicle, or carry non-collapsible walking aides onto some rides. Service animals are allowed in most locations throughout the Park. At the discretion of Lagoon, pets may be permitted on the Park. Pets must receive proper care, must be leashed at all times, and may not be left unattended. Animals will not be permitted to be tethered to Park fencing, ride queues, or to board rides. Rides are not designed to accomodate animals. Pets will not be admitted to Lagoon A Beach. Due to health and safety concerns, service animals are discouraged within the confines of Lagoon A Beach, and if permitted, must remain a minimum of 10 feet from the water. Pet owners are responsible for the clean up of their animal's waste.

Instructions to riders are provided verbally by operators at some rides. Guests who have a hearing impairment may request a written version of these instructions at the ride. Please make this request from the ride attendant before boarding.

Guests with disabilities and the person or persons accompanying them should wait in line and enter when it is their turn. If the guest with a disability requires assistance in boarding and/or exiting the ride, this person or persons must help them. Due to the unfamiliarity with each guest's physical condition, specific disability, capabilities, and the risk of operator injury, Lagoon Hosts and Hostesses are not permitted to physically transfer guests from wheelchairs. Before riding, please inform the ride attendant of specific needs or extra time that may be required to board or exit the ride.

Lagoon ride hosts or hostesses may make the final decision of ride eligibility with the safety of Lagoon's guests being their highest priority.

Thanks for coming! We are pleased that you have included Lagoon in your leisure recreation plans. Our goal is to provide you with the finest day of fun possible. We are here just for fun - Your fun! We look forward to serving you now, and seeing you again, in the future.
